In Memory….

Amidst the excitement of Kyle and I courting, we’ve also had our share of heartache.  My Grandpa passed away on April 11th.  I learned at his funeral that, just a few days before he passed, he had re-dedicated his life to the Lord!  What a joy it was to hear that!

Although we have had a lot of rainy weather here lately, the Lord saw to it that the day of Grandpa’s funeral was a beautiful day!  And just as the pastor had finished speaking at the graveside, a beautiful white swan took off from the river close by…the timing was perfect!

While it was hard to say goodbye, I know I’ll see him again someday 🙂  Until then, I have memories and pictures to remember him by 🙂

ANNOUNCING!!!!!!

Okay….so this has to be my most exciting blog post by far!!!

On Friday, my dreams came true when I opened up our front door, and there he stood….he pulled a dozen red roses out from under his jacket and said “Would you officially start courting me today?”  A huge smile on my face and almost in tears, I managed to squeal “YES!”.

My Prince Charming has arrived!
